During the mid afternoon the Tinton Falls Fire Department was dispatched to a working structure fire. Upon arrival Deputy Chief Chervinsky transmitted a second alarm as the two-story residential structure was fully involved. In addition to mutual aid from the Wanamassa Fire Co. and the Neptune Township Fire Department, the Monmouth County EMS Task Force and Red Cross were activated. The bulk of the fire was knocked down within the first hour.
